Our client is one of the United Kingdom's leading companies in its field. Its focus is on resource and waste management, and is part of a large group which sits among the UK’s top 250 companies. An exciting vacancy has recently arisen for a technical waste professional to join its team based in Pilsworth, covering the Northern region and Scotland. The purpose of this role will be to assist in the attainment of the company's published development objectives by managing the delivery of specific projects, work plans and feasibility studies within cost, time and quality parameters. You will be responsible for formulating and maintaining capital budgets, providing expert technical advice and ensuring that licences, permits consents and other legal agreements are obtained and kept up to date. You will assist in the formulation of the company's strategic plan and negotiate and agree client brief and site action plans. This role will involve planning managing and developing the group's work plan and reporting on its progress. Our client is looking for an environmental professional with a degree in Environmental Science, Geology or Engineering. You will have attained chartered status in an appropriate discipline, have an excellent knowledge of the waste industry, environmental legislation and planning regulations. This positions requires you to be a competent negotiator and contract administrator, with a proven track record of delivery of projects to cost, quality and time parameters as well as good time management. |
