The Regional Safety Manager is ultimately responsible for the identification and management of risks for SolarCity Field Operations Team assigned to their respective region. Management of risk may include, but is not limited to, the implementation and coordination of Federal/State/County regulations related to workplace safety, environmental controls and employee security/health.
The Regional Safety Manager is an integral member of the Regional Operations Team, who ensures that all field and operational personnel have the appropriate processes, procedures, training and tools, to work safely and effectively throughout the company. This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Safety to whom they will convey safety metrics for their region, discuss accidents and incidents, develop policies, evaluate tools/procedures and collaborate on innovation solutions to new risks. |
