BACKGROUND;
The IUCN Green List of Protected and Conserved Areas (GL) is the first global standard of best practice for area-based conservation. It is a programme of certification for protected and conserved areas that are effectively managed and fairly governed. IUCN Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office (ESARO) is looking for a Regional Coordinator to implement an existing portfolio of GL projects and to further develop a programme of work on GL in Eastern and Southern Africa.
