Description

The Digital & Data Team provides the foundations for digital innovation across marketing and fundraising, as well as internal processes, essential in supporting the League’s ambitious growth plans.

As Head of Digital & Data you will identify, drive and implement improvements in the digital and data development delivery process and culture. You will explore innovative technology to deliver an immersive experience to our supporters and will drive forward a Digital First culture to ensure our online presence is engaging and interactive, maximising all digital opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing, developing and updating the League’s website in line with League strategy
  • Developing and implementing the League’s Digital Strategy
  • Developing, managing and implementing the League’s intranet, digital media library and SharePoint projects
  • Acting as the lead for GDPR across the organisation and ensuring compliance

You will manage 3 direct reports, developing the required skills and resources, to meet the Digital strategy, by providing clear leadership and direction.

You will be joining a driven and caring team in an organisation working towards a kinder society. League benefits include 8% employer contributions into your pension fund, a generous holiday allowance and a dog friendly office.

The League Against Cruel Sports is Britain’s leading charity working towards a kinder society where persecuting animals for ‘sport’ is in the past.

Redefining what is acceptable and inspiring change, we were instrumental in helping bring about the landmark Hunting Act (2004). Driven by compassion and empowered by knowledge, we manage sanctuaries to protect wildlife, carry out investigations to expose law-breaking and cruelty to animals, and campaign for stronger animal protection laws and penalties.

United, we will end animal cruelty in the name of ‘sport’.
