Role Overview
The purpose of this new role is to be Bonsucro’s lead within Asia. The role will be responsible for translating Bonsucro’s new global strategy into regional (and in some cases) country relevant local strategies for the cane-growing sector across the region. The role will be responsible for driving forwards Bonsucro’s profile within the region as the global sugarcane platform.
Being a relatively small organisation with a global reach, and a challenging ambition, this is the right environment for someone who takes a flexible approach and who can adapt to arising issues while respecting local differences. The role requires a real self-starter and someone who is able to work with minimal supervision. You should have a strong knowledge of sustainability issues (particularly as they relate to agriculture and sugarcane), a proven track record of successful leadership, project management and partnership development, and a natural ability to influence stakeholders with diverse interests.
