Description:
The National Wild Turkey Federation is searching for a Regional Director to manage a territory in Eastern Colorado/New Mexico. The chosen candidate will have to reside in the region or be willing to relocate to that area. This position is charged with planning, developing, implementing and maintaining a grassroots program designed to attract more people to conservation, turkey hunting and other outdoor activities.
Duties:
Work with existing chapter system to develop them to their greatest potential for fund raising and membership development
Assist existing chapters in planning all types of activities that benefit the resource as well as the chapter
Act as liaison between chapters and national office on various issues
Work in development of all aspects of fund-raising dinners
Assist in searching out and screening donations of all types from private and public entities
Identify private and corporate landowners that are interested in having wild turkey management plans developed on their property
Ability to travel 25k to 30k miles per year to cover assigned territory with a company provided vehicle. Some overnight and weekend travel is required
Ability to submit weekly activity reports to headquarters and budget accordingly

BS degree preferred or equivalent experience in Sales
Experience using Microsoft Office, including strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills
