Recreation and Access Manager, Cairngorms National Park Authority, Scotland Full time (37.5 hours/week); Permanent Band E salary scale ?34,110 - ?40,546 Based in Grantown-on-Spey
We are seeking a Recreation and Access Manager to manage the recreation and access functions of the National Park Authority, including powers and duties arising from the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003, and coordination of ranger services in the Park. This involves managing programmes of work to maintain and improve access infrastructure, developing appropriate strategies, managing campaigns to promote understanding of the Scottish Outdoor Access Code, and providing advice on recreation and access issues generally.
The successful candidate will have a recognised qualification to degree standard or equivalent in a relevant discipline. They will also have understanding and experience of the legal framework, policy context, roles of partner agencies and other stakeholders in relation to Recreation and Access.
