Job Description
• Analyze data using sound statistical analysis methods • Identify new areas of research and development • Conceive, design, and supervise experiments in the R&D pilot manufacturing line and lab • Communicate experimental results through oral presentations and written reports Job Requirements • Excellent engineering and science fundamentals • Excellent problem solving skills • Basic statistics knowledge, although strong statistics background is highly valued • Consistently delivers on commitments & stretch goals • Drives effective solutions using good judgment & problem-solving methods • Stays focused and organized; plans effectively • Communicates openly & effectively across diverse groups including global offices & all functions • Takes initiative to challenge the status quo in positive ways • Works well with others to achieve complex goals on budget and on time Minimum Qualifications • Must have: Doctorate degree in Engineering or Science (Physics, Chemistry) with extensive academic or industrial research experience (background in photovoltaics is preferred) Nanosolar, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
