Reporting to the Senior Ranger Balcanoona, the Ranger is responsible for contributing to the effective operational management of parks and reserves in the SA Arid Lands Region.  This is undertaken by assisting with the planning and implementation of programs and projects associated with the management of Public land and the delivery of integrated Natural Resource Management.Vulkathunha-Gammon Ranges National Park and Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park are both co-managed parks in conjunction with the Adnyamathanha Traditional Lands Association.
