Glencoe is situated south of Fort William in Lochaber.  The property is made up of two main areas, Glencoe and Dalness (which includes Glen Etive), and covers 5680 hectares.  This property is a major tourist attraction, offering spectacular scenery, excellent mountaineering and is renowned as the site of the Massacre of the MacDonalds of Glencoe by government troops in 1692. The postholder will be part of a small team comprising a Senior Ranger, Ranger/Stalker, 3 Volunteer Assistant Rangers and local volunteers.  The role may involve occasional travel to other properties to support visitor events/ activities or participate in training.
