Quality Management Officer (m/f)

- Maternity cover for 12 months -  FUNCTION
  • Manage, maintain and develop FLO-CERT’s Quality Management System (QMS).
 CORE RESPONSIBILITIES·            Manage and develop the existing QMS.·            Manage all formal ISO 65 accreditation obligations.·            Manage the ongoing process of Quality Improvement. TASKS·            Manage FLO-CERT’s relationship with the ISO 65 accreditation body.·            Manage the Appeals Process. ·            Manage the Complaints/Allegations Process.·            Perform internal audits throughout the company.·            Report on the functioning of the QMS to Senior Management and the Board.·            Manage the Quality Improvement System Mantis.·            Train all staff on the functioning of the QMS. ·            Further develop and implement concept of regular quality checks.·            Liaise with the FLO quality manager. REPORTING TO Director Technical Services REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSNecessary:·            University level education (or equivalent) in a relevant subject (Business, Agronomy, Law, Economics etc.).·            At least two years experience with quality management systems. ·            At least two years experience in Certification Systems (e.g. Fairtrade, organic, FSC, MSC, SA8000, ISO 14001, Eurepgap etc).·            Fluent in English.·            Independent solution finder.·            Must be capable of making decisions without internal guidance.·            Must be capable of working under extreme external pressure.·            Excellent communication skills, team player, facility in dealing with different cultures.·            Computer skills MS Office, Database.·            Motivation for Fairtrade. Advantageous:·            Training as quality management representative (DGQ, TÜV Süd, etc.).·            Knowledge on ISO 17020. ·            Proficient knowledge of German.·            Knowledge of Spanish.·            Environmental background. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  • Job Share: 100%.
  • Contract duration: 12 months.
  • Position is based in the FLO-CERT Office in Bonn, Germany.
  • Start as soon as possible.
  • The office language is English.
  • Salary is paid according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement Category (Tarifvertrag Gross- und Aussenhandel, Nordrhein-Westfalen), Salary Range V plus an attractive benefits package.
