Position: Quality Engineer Dept: Quality Dept Location: Qidong, Jiangsu, China Responsibilities:
1. Use and assist others in the uses of Total Quality Process techniques. 2. Assist in the creation of the weekly/monthly quality report. 3. Work with engineering to develop and implement quality plans and test and inspection procedures for new products. 4. Work with IQC engineer to improve supplier quality. 5. Identify, investigate problems, determine root causes, and initiate corrective actions. 7. Provide quality inspection guidance and direct/assist quality inspectors in daily assignments. 8. Assist, train and advise inspectors and operators on proper inspection procedures and equipment operation. 9. Ensure that inspection and test data are recorded, filed, and maintained. Perform data analysis, data reduction and generate summary reports. 10. Assist in the inspection of vendor supplied and fabricated materials and components for visible defects and insure compliance with specifications. 11. Develop and maintain inspection procedures and Product Quality Control Plan. 12. Conduct product audits and identify specific processes/items needing improvement. Make recommendations to raise product quality and reliability; 13 . Perform gauge R&R, measurement variation, correlation and accuracy studies. Perform gauge calibration at specified intervals. 14. Analyze the materials returned from customers. Prepare and issue the Quality Alert. 15. Prepare SPC monthly, non-conformance and scrap reports. Assists QA Manager to co-ordinate with other departments for quality issues and NCRs follow up. 16. Provide technical/quality training to production and relevant team member. 17. Participate Six Sigma GB training and conduct GB project to improve quality.
Requirements:
1. At least 3 years quality assurance experience in mechanical or electronics industry, PV industry experience a plus. 2. Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering 3. Knowledge of Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D and problem solving 4. Good interpersonal skills and a cheerful disposition. 5. Must be able to work independently and structured. 6. Good Chinese and English language skills, both speaking and writing.
