Description

Groundwork London is responsible for several grant schemes across a variety of areas of environmental and social regeneration projects, including the TfL Walking & Cycling Grants London, the GLA Rewild London Fund and MOPAC’s Shared Endeavour Fund.

We are seeking a Quality and Compliance Assistant (Grants) to support the management and delivery of the Trust’s pan-London grant programmes. The post holder will implement set processes to ensure a high standard of delivery across the Trust’s grant programmes and ensure funder requirements are met. The individual is responsible for liaising with applicants and grant recipients to ensure the correct due diligence documentation is provided and discuss how to mitigate potential risks with senior colleagues when they arise.

The post holder must have excellent attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively with applicants, grant recipients and other stakeholders. The postholder must ensure accurate payment records are kept and projects adhere to their contractual payment schedules. The role includes reviewing applicant and grant recipient documentation, completing eligibility checks and due diligence, and other quality checking tasks across the grant portfolio.

A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and databases are essential for the role, along with abilities to manage conflicting or competing priorities. The postholder must be able to work autonomously as well as part of a high performing team and to effectively organise workloads.
