Description

My client is a leading producer of solar modules, with a strong global reach and a highly impressive track record. They already have a strong presence the markets throughout Europe, Canada and the USA and are now looking for an experienced PV Sales Manager to oversee their sales activities throughout China.

 

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the CEO at the company headquarters in Germany, the successful PV Sales Manager will be pivotal in establishing the subsidiary of this highly successful German producer of solar modules throughout China. You will be responsible for all sales and promotion activities of my client’s solar roof modules for cars and busses, and will have an exceptional background in sales.

Responsibilities:-

  • ·         Increase sales whilst establishing and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • ·         Provide technical support for my client’s products across all accounts
  • ·         Assisting the already established network and adding value via your experience
  • ·         Update account strategies and tactics
  • ·         Support both distributers and agents in identifying and qualifying sales opportunities
  • ·         Provide basic training to distributers and agents with regards to service products
  • ·         Conduct face-to-face meetings with customers
  • ·         Forecast service product sales in accordance with my client’s processes and procedures  

Education:-

  • ·         Must have a strong academic background in either engineering or business

Core Requirements:-

  • ·         5 – 10 years in the solar industry
  • ·         4+ years in key account management
  • ·         A solid background in the automotive industry
  • ·         Fluency in Mandarin
  • ·         Proven tactical sales experience and skill
  • ·         Exceptional organisational and planning skills
  • ·         Ability to review lengthy and detailed contracts
  • ·         Exceptional ability to handle objections and rejections
  • ·         A proven business track record
  • ·         Exceptional conflict management and negotiation skills

General Requirements:-

  • ·         Ability to travel
  • ·         A strong entrepreneurial attitude
  • ·         Ability to work alone as well as part of a team

Key Skills:-

Sales, key accounts management, solar, negotiation, marketing, fluency in Mandarin, technical background, business management, automotive industry, mechanical or electrical or civil engineering
