Description

My client is one of the leading producers and developers of rooftop PV systems and projects. They have locations globally and have established themselves as a key player within the market and are currently looking for an experienced sales manager to work on the East Coast of America.

 

Position Overview

This role is very much focused on the solar PV market along the East Coast of America. You will be responsible for the sale and tender of PV projects to small to medium size business owners, this will include the sale of prebuilt projects and also the concept of roof projects. This is an exceptional opportunity for a strong sales candidate to join a very successful global organisation in which they would be able to develop their careers and build an extensive network of contacts in the market.

 

Responsibilities:

  • ·         Responsible for overseeing acquisitions, development, and sales PV projects in Eastern AmericaNegotiating terms and closing deals
  • ·         Ensure all deals meet revenue and margin expectations
  • ·         Develop and manage a pipeline that supports the company’s growth strategy in PV project sales
  • ·         Manage projects by setting priorities and expectations, problem solving, communicating ongoing status updates
  • ·         Develop and manage all key accounts
  • Working with and overseeing the development and sales
  • Planning and organizing of projects
  • Generating leads and arrange client visits with a view to pitching solar projects and generating new business

 

Education:

  • Will be educated to a BSc level in business management or related field of study (MBA would be desirable)

 

Core Requirements:

  • You will have at least 3-5 years of sales experience in the solar industry, with an excellent track record in comercial scale project sales
  • Ability to travel frequently to client sites
  • Must have an extenisive network with EPC and comeercial companies in the East American Market
  • Must have experience in proposal writing and execution of sale to contract award
  • ·         Proficient with making impactful presentations
  • ·         Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
  • ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • ·         Proven track record in sales and growth

 

General Requirements:

  • ·         Good understanding of regulatory requirements in the solar industry
  • Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies
