Southern Solar Ltd is an expanding solar energy installation company with offices across the South of the UK and Wales. We provide a high quality professional service with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.


We are looking for an outstanding candidate to work within the large scale PV team (50KWp to 5MWp). This positive and motivated person will have a good understanding of large scale PV systems enabling them to organize and co-ordinate complex projects.

Job Description
Develop large PV projects from initial enquiry to system specification
Maintain relationships with key clients and deliver sales for the company
Produce site survey reports and feasibility studies
Manage the design and specification of large PV projects
Negotiate, structure and manage construction with responsibility for Health and Safety compliance

EXPERIENCE

Essential:
Experience of developing electrical projects
Project management track record
Technical competency and understanding of PV design

Desirable:
Experience of developing PV projects
Experience of negotiating, structuring and managing construction
Practical experience of general electrical and building works
Knowledge of large scale PV design and installation
Experience of connecting large electrical installations to the grid
A renewable energy qualification

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:
Excellent IT skills
Excellent social and communication skills
University level education
Excellent writing and presentation skills

Desirable:
Familiarity with PV design software
Electrical design qualifications
Health and Safety training

CHARACTER
Essential:    Proven ability to show leadership and vision
Proven track record in managing projects, people and self
Proactive attitude to problem solving
Responsive to the needs of others
Self-confident

OTHER
Essential:

    

Able to work a range of hours with occasional overnight stays
Enthusiasm for renewable energy technologies
Full clean driving licence


Benefits and Remuneration:

£25,000 – £34,000 dependent on experience for a 45 hour week including breaks

Candidate will be based in Sussex or Bristol with the possibility of working temporarily in any of the companies 6 regional offices.
