CMCC is willing to hire one talented, motivated and proactive researcher to cover one open position on climate change and sustainable development economics. The location is CMCC premises in Milan or in Venice (Italy), hosted in the premises of Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM), CMCC founding member. The primary purpose for this position is to join a project that aims at advancing the modeling of the role of institutions and interest groups in decision-making processes related to global climate change policies. Her/his main task will be to connect numerical integrated assessment models of climate change with the political economy literature on the role of institutions and interest groups. The research activities will be performed in cooperation with the Research Programme on Climate Change and Sustainable Development (CCSD) of Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM), CMCC founding member. The desired qualifications are:
The initial appointment is for 12 months starting from January 2014 and can be renewed. Gross salary is competitive and will be based on qualification and experience.
