The Zoological Society of London’s (ZSL) International Marine & Freshwater Conservation Programme seeks to bring direct and
sustained conservation benefits to marine, coastal and freshwater wildlife and their habitats.  ZSL is looking to recruit a dynamic individual to act as a half-time Projects Coordinator for the Programme. They will be responsible for managing financial, logistical, administrative and reporting requirements for conservation projects, including those arising from collaborative arrangements between ZSL and partner organisations.

 

This job would suit a recent Masters graduate in the field of aquatic / marine biology, or similar discipline, who is looking
to develop a career in conservation. They will have an understanding of, and passion for, the conservation of aquatic habitats and fauna.

 

The successful candidate will be independently driven and show initiative; with strong administrative skills; confident in verbal
and written communications; with good inter-personal skills; numerate; and have good time management and organisational skills.

 

This grant-funded position is a 12 month part-time (50%) contract (anticipated to be 5 mornings per week, with some flexibility) with potential to renew and will be located in London. A job description is available by email from hr@zsl.org or from our website www.zsl.org/jobs
