As Project Technical Officer (PTO) you will: ? Contribute to the implementation of the EC project by providing assistance to the NPC in Ghana, specifically
? Be a member of the national project management unit in Ghana ? Foster collaboration and synergy with other organizations and partners outside INBAR ? Provide specific expertise for the field activities of the project in Ghana ? Carry out activities within other INBAR projects as appropriate ? Assist the NPC with public relations with governments, EC and other international organization and NGOs Experience and qualifications ? At least 6 years relevant project experience and Knowledge of natural resource, biomass energy and SMEs development ? Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and local language(s) ? Intercultural mentality and ability to work with/manage teams ? Strong interpersonal and networking skills ? Ability and willingness to travel to project sites, including rural areas The successful candidate will be based in Kumasi, Ghana, and report to the National Project Coordinator. A competitive salary will be provided. He/she will be appointed for an initial period of one year, renewable/extendable up to a total of 4 years based on performance and availability of funds.
