As Project Technical Officer (PTO) you will: ? Contribute to the implementation of INBAR’s EC-funded project by providing assistance to the National Project Coordinator (NPC) in Ethiopia, specifically
? Be a member of the national project management unit in Ethiopia ? Foster collaboration and synergy with other organizations and partners outside INBAR ? Provide specific expertise for the field activities of the project in Ethiopia ? Carry out activities within INBAR projects as appropriate ? Assist the NPC with INBAR’s public relations with governments, EC and other international organization and NGOs Experience and qualifications ? At least 6 years relevant project experience and knowledge of natural resource, biomass energy and SME development ? Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Amharic ? Intercultural mentality and ability to work with/manage teams ? Strong interpersonal and networking skills ? Ability and willingness to travel to pilot sites, including rural areas The successful candidate will be based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and report to the National Project Coordinator. A competitive salary will be provided. He/she will be appointed for an initial period of one year, renewable/extendable up to a total of 4 years based on performance and availability of funds.
