The role
The team
The Wessex WFD planning and delivery team plans, coordinates and helps deliver WFD targets – we look at what needs doing, find a way of doing it and make it happen by coordinating our own and other staff and partners’ work to improve the water environment.
Experience/skills required We’re seeking a technical person with some project and data /office-based experience. You’ll be qualified at least to GCSE level or above, in appropriate technical disciplines and have relevant work experience in a project support role. You’ll have a proven ability in accurate management of data and information and in reporting. Other key requirements include good organisational and communication skills, and the ability to think creatively and solve problems. We’re looking for a good team player, someone who is highly motivated, and can work on their own initiative and who shares our enthusiasm for improving the environment. You’ll need to be comfortable working with staff across all departments in the Area and Region and in supporting work with external partners.
