Project Procurement Contract Manager - Biomass Building on its successful track record in the wind sector, the RES Group is expanding its activities to non-wind renewable power generation. A dedicated team within RES UK and Ireland leads the RES Group's activities in the development of grid-connected biomass power and CHP projects. Two key projects with a combined capacity of 250 MW and a projected capital investment of c £600m are the current focus of the team's activities. RES is looking to recruit a Project Procurement Contract Manager to support the successful delivery of such projects. The Procurement Contract Manager will be responsible for the procurement of the construction and operation and maintenance contracts for RES's biomass power and CHP projects, and managing the pre-construction engineering and due diligence activities required for the successful conclusion of the commercial contracting process. The Procurement Contract Manager will be based in Kings Langley or Gateshead and report to the Head of Biomass. The job description below outlines the basic roles of the Procurement Contract Manager.
