Project Planner, Water Treatment Plant

With a presence in five continents, our client’s experience is diverse across a number of areas including water. Due to ongoing work, they currently seek a Project Planner to work on a major water treatment plant.

Reporting to the Project Director, your role will be to facilitate the planning of projects and scheduling of activities by ensuring project timelines, milestones and key requirements are met in accordance with the project schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
    
•    Ensure the successful planning of projects and scheduling activities in accordance with the project schedule.
•    Meet agreed commercial outcomes on delivery of planning and scheduling activities.
•    Produce and update construction schedules and provide ongoing scheduling support.
•    Monitor, track and report detailed project plans to management.
•    Maintain existing internal and external client relationships with key stakeholders.
•    Manage client expectations during project delivery stage.
•    Assist senior management with budget and business planning processes
•    Ensure the Planning activities are profitable and meet its agreed contribution to the overall project budget.

In order to be considered for this position, you will be a degree qualified Civil, Chemical, Mechanical or related Engineer. Ideally you will substantial years’ experience working in a Planner role within the infrastructure/construction industry.  Extensive knowledge of planning processes and project related schedules as well as experience in Water Treatment will be highly desirable. A willingness and flexibility to travel both interstate and overseas will be required.

A salary package of $70-$90,000 will be on offer to the successful applicant.
