Project Officer/Assistant Project Officer

ob Responsibilities:

• Assist WTI communications team implement the communications strategy with respect to various target groups in Garo Hills Landscape.
• Document WTI’s conservation initiatives in Garo Hills and develop content for internal and external communications, particularly for website, media and donors.  
• Service and manage local media contacts and develop new media relationships.
• Identify effective contemporary and locally-popular means of communication and find newer platforms for incorporation in WTI’s communications strategy to spread awareness on wildlife conservation and welfare in Garo Hills.
• Help organise local events.
• Interact and liaise with local communities, media and government officials to promote wildlife conservation and welfare awareness in Garo Hills.
