Responsibilities and Scope

In direct contact with Members, and working 40% of the time on ocean and 60% on cotton, the position will initially include the following responsibilities:

  • Direct contact and management of projects with members
  • Operational support of Gregoire Jacob in his work with members (retailers, brands, producers)
  • Supply chain data analysis, due diligence research and risk prioritization
  • Implementation and follow-up of questionnaires
  • Implementation and follow-up of action plans with supply chain stakeholders
  • Media watch
  • Participation and contribution to information meetings, conferences, exhibitions. Event organization
  • Scientific / technical studies and summaries (FR / GB) on several topics/commodities

Requirements – Candidate Profile Minimum Qualifications

  • Bac +4/5, type engineer or business school
  • A first successful experience in the field of quality or environment, or more broadly in the definition
  • Organization and implementation of methods and work processes related to the collection and processing of information and data
  • Recognized qualities of analysis, rigor and organization
  • A lot of practicality
  • A creative and inventive mind
  • Openness in a multicultural work environment
  • A good command of office automation tools (Excel in particular)

Language skills:

  • Fluent in English and French
  • Strong communication skills in Spanish or German – desired

Personal characteristics:

  • Passion for working on issues related to sustainability, resilience, human rights and supply chains;
  • Hands-on, practical, innovative;
  • Flexibility, takes initiative/proactive and positive attitude;
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary and multicultural team;
