Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement strategic work plans for advancing the production and availability of responsibly produced products from Malaysia, focusing on current TFT product groups; wood, paper, stone, palm oil and natural fibers.
  • Research and evaluate product supply chains against responsible sourcing procedures and international certification standards (e.g. FSC, MTCS, RSPO).
  • Develop and implement management and training recommendations for companies working towards responsible production and product supply chain control.

Candidates with the following background are encouraged to apply:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Agriculture, Forestry, Environmental Science, Business, Social Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years working experience in relevant field.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in technical, environmental and social issues. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work with businesses on management, supply chain and certification issues.
