Project Officer - Van Rakshak Project

Background:
This is a junior management position, reporting to the Coordinator. The Project Officer must have good time management skills and field training experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide programmatic support to the Coordinator in budget management, report writing and project planning.
• Facilitate day-to-day functioning of the field-based projects
• Assist monitoring and evaluation of field-based projects
• Prepare project implementation plans and work plans.

Skills:

• Basic understanding of wildlife issues
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English)
• Budgeting skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
• Willingness to work in the field if necessary.

Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline (preferably BBA)/Post graduate. Candidates with other qualifications but with skills mentioned above may also apply.

Experience:
3-5 years experience in a similar position.
