Project Officer - Tamar Valley AONB

The Tamar Valley AONB Partnership are seeking a new Project Officer to cover the Maternity leave of the current officer. This is an exciting role working in a dynamic team to conserve and sustain the landscapes of the beautiful Tamar Valley on the Devon - Cornwall border. The area is an AONB, but also contains parts of a World Heritage Site. The AONB Partnership has been successfully delivering since the area was designated in 1995. The Project Officer will work in the AONB team with specific responsibility for heritage issues, and delivery of current HLF and Interreg programmes, with a special focus on community working.
Candidates should have considerable experience of working in heritage landscape management. The Candidate needs to be able to work on their own initiative and within a busy team and office environment. A proven track record of delivering externally funded programmes to time and within budget would be desirable as would skills and experience in GIS.
The post will be based within the Tamar Valley AONBs HQ at the Tamar Valley Centre near to Gunnislake. The post is being offered as a full-time maternity cover, hosted by Cornwall Council.
