Project Officer - Awareness for Conservation

The incumbent is responsible for facilitating, monitoring and documenting the awareness and education activities conducted by WTI. He/she shall liaise with all project staff and ensure efficient communication between various channels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Project In-charge (PI)/Chief.
  • Evaluate and monitor the progress of the projects quarterly as per the criteria listed down by the PI/Chief.
  • Facilitate conducting project review meetings (at least quarterly) for all projects of the PI/ Chief.
  • Maintain, review, update and analyze records and/ or data of all projects that fall under the PI.
  • Ensure proper communication of PI’s decision to both Regional and Discipline Heads, Project Leads and others concerned.
  • Provide programmatic support to all projects of the PI in consultation or coordination with the respective PIs.
  • Keep the PI/ Chief informed of the donor report deadlines and statutory compliance of the relevant projects.
  • Undertake any other activity as delegated by PI/ Chief.

Skills:

  • Excellent command over written and spoken English
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point.

Qualifications

Graduate or Post - graduate in any discipline (preferably in mass-communication/media)

Preferable experience:

A year’s experience in a similar positions conducting awareness campaigns
