For the newly established Supply Chain Management (SCM) Offshore department at our new competency center in Vejle, Denmark, we are looking for globally oriented and highly experienced SCM Project Managers. The department is responsible for designing, developing and implementing comprehensive and innovative SCM global concepts that support the Offshore department in becoming the preferred partner. Our focus is global and currently our main focus is UK round 3.

Work Assignments

You will primarily be responsible for independent SCM projects in the tension field between order-driven production units and project executing installation units, where you will have a strong influence on your daily work.

More specifically, your main responsibilities will cover:

• Acting as an SCM offshore facilitator at all organizational levels

• Anticipating and defining strategic and emerging SCM challenges and trends in order for the organization to effectively adapt to market needs for optimal delivery of wind turbines

• Being responsible for SCM projects from idea to implementation, including post-project evaluation, measurement and derived operational tasks

In this position travel activities must be expected.

Your Profile

You have a commercial degree at Master’s level or equivalent qualifications combined with a minimum of 3 years of strong project management experience, preferably within Business Development or Supply Chain development. As a person you are open-minded, proactive and structured, and you take ownership of your responsibilities. You have the drive to continuously create results and innovative solutions and are not bound by traditional thinking. You have strong analytical skills and are a skilled communicator capable of interfacing at all levels in an international environment. In addition, you possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing.
