Project Manager

Florida or Mid-West – location not a requisite only a preference.

The Project Manager is responsible for implementing new Recyclebank programs throughout North America. This includes facilitating the multi threaded implementation process, and coordinating all internal and external activities with our hauler and municipal partners. The Project Manager is not an IT role.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


    • Communicate and direct the implementation of the Recyclebank program in new areas. Activities include:

      • Development and management of a project plan to ensure all activities are completed on time.
      • Coordination of Recyclebank team members.
      • Coordination of equipment order, delivery and installation.
      • Ensuring all vendor activities are scheduled and meet set deadlines.
      • Coordinating post roll-out cart maintenance and delivery activities.

    • Develop and maintains positive relationships and contact with Municipal officials, haulers, community representatives, and Public Works employees. Activities include:

      • Initiation and conducting status meetings and customer calls
      • Recording and distribution of agendas and meeting minutes, etc.
      • Coordinating resolution of any issues/problems within agreed upon timeframes.
      • Support all data-related activities including collection, processing and reporting function.

  • Provide the Company with up-to-date information and make recommendations regarding operational, technical, and other related issues. Participate in the management and execution of goals and objectives established between Recyclebank and its partners.
  • Contribute to the Project Management Groups efforts to develop & maintain operational documentation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


  • Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize and address multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willing to travel up to 75% of the time and work long hours.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; effectively interacts with people of diverse levels and backgrounds.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations.
  • Hands-on manager; enjoys work outside the office, in the field.
  • Flexible and adapts well to a constantly changing environment.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be able climb in and out of trucks, lift 25 pounds, and work outside in adverse weather conditions.
  • Must have a US driver’s license and excellent driving record.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelors Degree
  • 1 – 3 years experience in operations, project management or a related field
