Project Manager Wind/Solar/Projects/Renewable Energy

PROJECT MANAGER needed for renewable energy construction projects. Must be able and willing to travel extensively to develop and deliver solar and wind projects sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversees solar and wind energy projects from initial planning through final acceptance
• Manage all aspects of the construction project including scheduling, preconstruction, subcontracts, execution, submittals, RFI’s, change orders, cash flow, start-up, and close-out
• Provide project administration to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule
• Establish and maintain safety programs, training, and good safety practices throughout project

Requirements

• Requires BS Technical Degree and 5 years of project management experience on solar, wind, renewable energy or other large industrial or power projects
• Expertise with technical, administration, and management of all phases of renewable energy project activities, including cost controls, scheduling, and quality management
• Knowledge of public and construction safety and security issues and regulations
• Able to read, understand, and apply drawings and job specifications to civil and electrical work
• Must be proficient with Viewpoint, Primavera, MS Project, and MS Office
