Project Manager, Tulcea, Romania

My client is a leading global manufacturer within the wind industry, whose list of clients and projects are genuinely world class. They are looking for a Project Manager to prove technical support and project management to key accounts in both onshore and offshore wind along with other renewable technologies, based in Romania.

Position Overview:

The project manager will need to deliver high standards within the environmental field and display exceptional people skills in supporting, leading and developing within the project delivery team whilst simultaneously supporting the project engineering teams. A great commercial awareness is required in order to support to the business development of my client’s current accounts along with developing new opportunities, with the highest level of technical expertise in project management required on a day to day basis.  

Responsibilities:-

• ·         Playing a vital role in the project management team
• ·         Providing technical support to engineers and contractors across the wind farm project in order to perform to the highest standard and ensure your growth within the company
• ·         Offering support to existing clients and expanding the business to new opportunities
• ·         Taking on a senior role in motivating and mentoring those working on the renewable energy project.
• ·         Performing as a leader and manage teams
• ·         Provide the most accurate account of the projects performance and their ability to be undertaken with in the budget and time frames provided
• ·         Take the lead and ensure that wind farm projects are fully compliant with contractual and customer requirements.

Education:-

• ·         Must have a strong academic background with a relevant degree in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering

Core Requirements:-

• ·         A strong background working in the offshore energy market with experience in wind projects
• ·         5+ years of extensive project management experience
• ·         Experience of managing both external and internal stakeholders
• ·         A good level of commercial awareness within the industry
• ·         A strong background working in the offshore energy market with experience in wind projects
• ·         A broad understanding of the commercial renewable energy markets

General Requirements:-

• A good understanding of other sectors of the renewable industry and their environmental impact
• A keen interest in the offshore wind market and a desire to see it progress and be part of its development throughout Europe
