Purpose
To actively manage the day-to-day Project Management requirements of a suite of medium sized cyclic and bespoke projects within the Environmental Programmes team. Such projects will include:
- Working with senior managers and the delivery team to shape the direction of projects, identifying key activities, milestones and risks
- Ensuring project disciplines such as project plans, progress monitoring and reporting, risks and issues management and change management are in place and adhered to
- Understanding the needs of the project teams and helping them to deliver against the plan
- Coaching project team members in project management tools
- Coordinating management information which is required by the Environmental Programmes team
- Coordinating management information which is required by other parts of the business (eg finance and HR)
