Chemonics seeks senior-level specialists for an anticipated USAID-funded clean energy program in Colombia. The program aims to increase access to renewable energy sources and energy-efficient practices. Qualifications:
Advanced degree in energy-related engineering, policy, business, finance, or economics
Extensive experience in senior-level management and implementing energy sector projects, especially in rural electrification, renewable energy, and energy efficiency
Proven leadership in the administration of international donor-supported projects with skills in strategic planning, management, supervision, and budgeting
Proven ability to develop and communicate a common vision among diverse host-country and donor partners and to lead multidisciplinary teams, as well as to develop a network of contacts among international donor officials and non-government staff
Proven skills in intercultural communications and facilitating dialogue, coordination, and collaboration among energy industry, financial sector, donors, communities, and government
Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationships with senior representatives of national and local government, the private sector, and civil society
Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and versatility
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
Work experience in the Colombia energy sector highly desirable
