Position number:517 Manage projects to support delivery of the Great Barrier Reef Climate Change Adaptation Strategy and Action Plan 2012-2017. Contribute to the development of frameworks, guidelines and policies for climate change resilience and adaptation; and compile and maintain knowledge to support the work of the GBMRPA and partners in understanding and responding to climate change risks. Duties will include:
1. Identify, initiate and manage climate change resilience and adaptation projects, including management of contracts and liaison with service providers and partners. 2. Maintain a robust, current and accessible knowledge base to support Great Barrier Reef climate change activities. 3. Develop frameworks, guidelines and policies to support climate change resilience and adaptation. 4. Assist with information analysis and preparing reports to internal and external partners. 5. Work with relevant partners to package and transfer knowledge to support implementation and outcomes for the Great Barrier Reef Climate Change Adaptation Strategy and Action Plan 2012-2017.
