Main Duties and Responsibilities of the role
Managing Biogas projects
Managing Waste2Energy projects
Managing Bio-energy projects
Technical and economical evaluation of bio-energy projects, specifically biogas
Solid waste management
Waste water treatment
Promoting and development of Clean Development Mechanism projects
Qualifications
Degree (M.Sc, Dipl.-Ing.(FH), B.Sc. or PhD) in process engineering, bio-technology, environmental
technology, renewable energy technologies or similar.
Experience
Experience in technical and economical aspects of developing bio-energy projects
Experience in technical and economical aspects of developing waste2energy
Strong technical skills and experience in, or familiarity with sectors as energy, waste or
industrial processes
Knowledge and interest in climate change projects and the carbon markets
Project management experience in sectors as energy, waste or industrial processes
Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
Ability to manage own work effectively and prioritize tasks
Ability to manage a team and other staff
Working knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent German and Spanish or English language skills
