The client that we are managing this position for are a leading electrical contractor specializing in the construction of transmission line and substation projects. Due to the successful completion on a number of high valued projects the company are looking to further expand to keep up with the demands of their clients.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a well-rounded ‘cradle to grave’ Project Manager who will be responsible for helping to secure future projects and take overall responsibility for the management through construction to completion. Responsibilities:-
• Creating and submitting project bids
• Taking a leading role with estimating and scheduling
• Assist with the recruitment of field based Managers
• Liaise with Site Construction Managers to ensure that projects are going smoothly
• Representing the company to the project owners
• Sub contractor management
• Conducting constructability reviews
Core Requirements:-
• A minimum of 10 years relevant experience within the construction industry
• Experience within the electrical utility industry
• Previous estimating and scheduling experience
• Previous field based experience
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Desire to be part of a growing or organization
• Has a can do attitude with a desire to succeed
