Description

The Tame Valley Wetland Landscape Partnership has secured funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund to develop the Tame Valley Wetlands Landscape Partnership Scheme. We are looking for an experienced project manager to develop and submit our stage 2 application.

Your role will be to work with existing and potential partners at grass roots and strategic levels and with consultants to develop a Landscape Conservation Action Plan for the Tame Valley. The successful candidate will have experience of managing large projects and will have a good understanding of wetland management and restoration and / or built heritage conservation. You will also need a proven track record of securing grant funding, ideally with Lottery or similar providers. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with a wide range of people. You should have a passion for conservation, people and wildlife. The post is full time (35 hours) for 13 months.

The post is based at Brandon Marsh Nature Centre, Coventry with some time in Tamworth and the Tame Valley.
