Project Manager - Japan

A major developer of solar power projects in Japan is seeking to hire a Senior Project Manager. You will be overseeing and managing the full project cycle of PV projects. You will also have to maintain collaborative relationships with EPC and O&M contractors to ensure success to the designated projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the permitting and approvals for the projects
• Ensure review and approval of engineering deliverables
• Negotiation with contractors and monitor contractual changes and obligations
• Ensure insurance policies and claims are maintained
• Retain all project-related documentation in an organized manner per company procedures
• Additional or modified responsibilities may be assigned based on need.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or equivalent
• Fluent in both Japanese and English
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
• Experienced in project and asset management
