Forum for the Future is looking for a project intern in our Bristol Office for the period August to November. This role will assist with development and delivery of the West of England Carbon Challenge – helping more than 130 businesses collectively cut their carbon emissions.

Person Specifications:

  • Evidence of managing complex data, relationship management, and communication skills are essential
  • A knowledge of carbon footprinting and environmental management in organisations is desirable

 

Other general skills for all three roles:

  •  A commitment to the values and mission of Forum for the Future is essential
  •  An understanding of sustainable development is desirable
  •  Experience of independent research is desirable
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •  Well organised, able to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  •  Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a small team environment
  •  Good ICT skills are essential

This internship isbased in our Bristol office.
Lunch expenses up to the value of £5 and daily travel expenses from within the Bristol city-region will be covered.
This internship period is for four months between August and November 2012. Full or part-time applications will be considered, although a minimum commitment of three days a week is desirable. Expected start date is Wednesday 1st August. Working hours to be negotiated.
