Forum for the Future is looking to appoint a project intern in our Bristol Office for the period January 2013 to Easter.
The successful applicant will assist with delivery and profile of the West of England Carbon Challenge – helping more than 130 businesses collectively cut their carbon emissions.
Person Specifications:
- Evidence of strong communication skills
- Experience of managing complex data
- A knowledge of carbon footprinting and environmental management in organisations is desirable
- A commitment to the values and mission of Forum for the Future is essential
- An understanding of sustainable development is desirable
- Experience of independent research is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well organised, able to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a small team environment
- Good ICT skills are essential.

This internship is based in our Bristol office. Lunch expenses up to the value of £5 and daily travel expenses from within the Bristol city-region will be covered. This intern period is for three months between January to Easter 2013. Full or part-time applications will be considered, although we would like a minimum commitment of three days a week.
Expected start date: Monday 7th January, hours to be negotiated.
