Description: Project Geologist/Environmental Scientist. 0–4 years experience. Experience in conducting Phase I and Phase II environmental site investigations (various field exploration methods and analytical testing methods) is desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Responsibilities: Candidates will conduct environmental site assessments, perform historical and regulatory research, and a variety of environmental sampling including ground water sampling, surface water sampling, soil gas sampling, and surveying ground water elevations. Candidates will also supervise soil boring and monitoring well installations, document removal of underground storage tanks and contaminated soils, and installation and operation of remedial systems. Skills: Effective written and oral communications. Education: BS/MS degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, or related earth sciences field.
