An exciting opportunity has recently arisen for a Project Engineer (Waste Management) to join our growing client. This company is focussed on total waste management and deals with a wide range of waste streams. The Project Engineer will bridge the gap between commercial teams, who win business, and operations teams, who deliver the business.
Your principle responsibilities will include providing technical/operational input, managing the implementation of new business projects, developing technical solutions to waste issues, producing operational processes and supporting the continuous improvement of services at customer sites.
You will hold a technical, engineering or manufacturing oriented degree along with an understanding of logistics processes and procedures. An awareness of commercial aspects is essential, as well as strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. You should possess a full driving licence and be flexible to travel on short-term assignments within the UK. It is also important that you are able to work weekends if required.
