Project Engineer / Hydrologist - Edinburgh
Our client now seek a Project Engineer / Hydrologist for their Water Environment team, based in the Edinburgh office. This role will involve such activities as Hydrologic studies, flood risk assessment, report writing and civil engineering design. This position requires an enthusiastic and ambitious individual who has a high level of commitment and self-motivation. The role also involves being fully competent in your own discipline, being able to work independently and as part of a team, and being confident to share your expertise with others by providing guidance and support as required.
The successful candidate will possess a sound understanding of hydraulics as well as British hydrology. Ideally you will also have prior experience in civil design and have an understanding of civil engineering techniques. Your knowledge of SUDS principles/techniques and 2D hydraulic modelling techniques will sit alongside your excellent report writing and communication skills. You will be a qualified Civil Engineer, ideally with full membership of ICE or CIWEM.
