Description

Earthwatch is recruiting a Project Coordinator to support delivery of our Capacity Building activities, including training of emerging scientists, educators and students. Earthwatch works with teachers and students to empower the next generation to take action to save our planet. We enable scientists to develop a range of field skills, communication skills and confidence, to inspire others and affect change on the ground. Using citizen science we take learning outside, promote pro-environmental behaviours and aim to inspire, connect and empower those who take part.

The ideal candidate is an excellent coordinator, with a keen focus on ensuring delivery of activities to a high standard.  You have experience of effective planning and working to agreed processes to deliver results, demonstrating collaborative working across different teams, regions and functions. You are also able to work proactively and independently, asking for guidance and support when necessary. Experience of working in an NGO, educational or science organisation would be beneficial but not essential.

Earthwatch is an international environmental NGO. Our mission is to empower people to save our planet.
