Job Information

The Project Coordinator serves as the single post-sale point of contact for Real Goods Solar customers and manages the customer experience throughout the project life cycle.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for being a subject-matter expert on all processes associated with the installation of Real Goods Solar Residential PV installations. This includes learning current processes and incorporating new processes that emerge in an ever-changing environment.
  • Interacts with customers via telephone and email according to Real Goods Solar customer communication protocol throughout the duration of the project life cycle
  • Coordinates with customers and Site Techs to schedule site survey appointments
  • Coordinates with other Project Administration Team members to collect project documents for customer signatures
  • Communicates with other departments internally as necessary to ensure project milestones and customer expectations are met
  • Prepares project information for handoff to Operations team for installation
  • Responds to customer inquiries and manages problem resolution
  • Maintains accurate Salesforce.com data and interconnection documentation
  • Other tasks as assigned

 

Essential Qualifications:

  • College educated
  • Job related experience in customer service and project coordination
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, or equivalent
  • Can communicate effectively in both written and verbal English
  • Excellent telephone communication skills
  • Must be able to research and analyze problems and make independent decisions
  • Strong ability to organize and prioritize a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks with minimal errors
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Close attention to detail
  • Prompt response to customer needs
  • Positive team spirit
  • Accurate and thorough
