The Namibia Nature Foundation has the following position to offer for a suitably qualified and experienced Namibian or permanent resident:

Project Co-ordinator: Supporting community development and biodiversity conservation in the Succulent Karoo (Karas Region), working out of the NNF offices in Windhoek.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A tertiary-level qualification in biodiversity conservation, rural development, social ecology, nature conservation or related field;
  • At least four years' experience in managing programmes or projects in the field of community-based sustainable development;
  • Excellent IT and written communication skills, in particular experience in report-writing and proposal-writing;
  • Experience in budget management and financial administration;
  • Demonstrable capacity-building skills and experience;
  • Valid driver's license.
