Wildlife Trust of India is looking for a Programme Officer for its Rescue
Programme. The incumbent should have experience in handling animals, conflict
situations and addressing wildlife emergencies.
Provide Programmatic support to Wild Rescue programme, in the areas of budget
management, Report writing and project planning.
Provide fast and effective country wide response to wildlife in distress
and address their rehabilitation and welfare needs.
Capacity building of wildlife rehabilitators through internships and workshops.
Candidate should have a passion for wildlife and primarily concerned with
their welfare.
Willingness to learn and work for long hours if necessary.
Good communication skills (written and spoken)
Experience in handling animals, conflict situations and addressing wildlife
emergencies
Qualifications:
Graduate or Post Graduate with experience in wildlife preferably in the
conservation field of wildlife rehabilitation and conflict animal management.
Preferable experience:
2-5 years experience in the above mentioned profile
