Job Title: Program Operations Manager - Nashville, TN

Instructions:

EnerNOC, a leading provider of demand response and energy efficiency solutions, has an immediate need for a Program Operations Manager to join our world-class Operations Management organization. Reporting to the Manager of Program Operations, the Program Operations Manager will oversee the implementation of new demand response programs and will focus on EnerNOC’s bilateral DR, open-market DR, and peak load management programs.

The Program Operations team is defined by two core responsibilities:

  • Coordinate across EnerNOC functions to guarantee the successful, timely, and cost-effective delivery of demand response programs
  • Serve as an account manager and primary operational point of contact for DR program operators

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop program launch and implementation plans with specific objectives and timelines; hold project stakeholders accountable for deliverables/ timelines
  • Lead or assist in the definition of program implementation requirements, e.g.:
  • EnerNOC event management (including pre- and post-event) protocol design
  • Engineering software/ product management needs and implementation
  • Energy Markets asset optimization strategy (consideration of short- and long-term risk/reward, baseline methodology, performance metrics, etc.)
  • Conduct periodic internal program implementation status/ planning meetings
  • Meet regularly with utility/ operator contacts to review program implementation status and maintain utility customer satisfaction
  • Build regular internal and external summary reports
  • Provide pre-contract/program support, using implementation experience to facilitate successful program design
  • Design, benchmark, and systematically improve:
  • Program status/health metrics
  • Time-to-delivery metrics
  • Operator/program customer service metrics

Required Qualifications/ Skills/ Education:

  • BA/BS in a technical or managerial field, or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of two years experience in the demand response industry
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in project management, with a proven ability to drive projects to timely and successful completion
  • Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • A relentless commitment to winning
